Pressure transmitter is widely used in practical application, but if you want it to play a normal role, you should pay attention to the selection of pressure transmitter. Also have a clear understanding of its more common faults, so as to ensure the safety and reliability of use.

The selection of pressure transmitter should pay attention to the following four problems:

The first is the output signal. At present, due to various acquisition needs, there are many kinds of output signals of pressure transmitter on the market, commonly used are 4 ~ 20mA and 0 ~ 10V. Among the output signals I mentioned above, only 4 ~ 20mA is two-wire system, the others are three-wire system.

The second one is the wetted material. The material of contact medium part of general pressure transmitter is 316 stainless steel. If your medium is not corrosive to 316 stainless steel, then basically all pressure transmitters are suitable for your measurement of medium pressure. If it is corrosive to 316 stainless steel, then we should adopt chemical seal, which can not only measure the pressure of medium, but also effectively prevent the contact between medium and liquid part of pressure transmitter.

The third is the range. Generally, the maximum range of sensor measurement is 70% of the full range of the sensor, that is, to measure the pressure of 70bar, we should select the range of pressure transmitter of 100bar.

Finally, the accuracy level should be considered. Each kind of electronic measuring meter will have accuracy error, but because the accuracy level of each country is different, the accuracy of our country is the best part of the sensor's linearity, that is, the accuracy between 10% and 90% of the measurement range.

When the pressure transmitter is used, it may be affected by various factors, resulting in the following three problems:

The first problem is that the output of the pressure transmitter does not change, or the output of the pressure transmitter changes suddenly, and the zero position of the pressure relief transmitter cannot return.

The common reason is that due to the specification of the seal ring, the seal ring is compressed into the pressure port of the sensor to block the sensor. When the pressure medium is pressurized, the pressure medium can not enter, but when the pressure is high, the seal ring is suddenly opened, and the pressure sensor changes under pressure.

Solution: remove the sensor and directly check whether the zero position is normal. If the zero position is normal, replace the sealing ring and try again.

The second problem is that the output signal of pressure transmitter is unstable.

This kind of fault may be a problem of pressure source. The pressure source itself is an unstable pressure. It is likely that the anti-interference ability of the instrument or pressure sensor is not strong, the vibration of the sensor itself is very serious and the sensor failure.

The third problem is that when the pressure goes up, the transmitter output will not go up.
