Classification and installation requirements of turbine flowmeter

Turbine flowmeter is an ideal flow meter because of its high measurement accuracy, safe and reliable use, simple and stable structure. Recently, some users always ask about the classification and installation of turbine flowmeter. The following is a brief introduction.

The first is the split remote display turbine flowmeter.

1. Working voltage: external power supply: 220 VAC;

2. Signal transmission distance: less than 250m;

3. The display instrument displays: the total amount is 9 digits;

4. Display instrument size: horizontal: 160mm × 80mm, vertical: 80mm × 160mm, with 4 ~ 20mA output;

5. Relay output can realize upper and lower limit alarm, batch control, quantitative control, etc.

The second type of turbine flowmeter is field display.

1. Cumulative flow: 8 digits, 3 significant digits after decimal point.

2. Instantaneous flow: six digits, showing the change of each liter.

3. Display accuracy: ± 1 display unit.

4. Signal output: pulse output: 1 ~ 3000hz external supply + 12 ~ + 24 VDC power supply.

Third, pulse output turbine flowmeter.

1. Working voltage is + 12VDC or + 24VDC.

2. Signal transmission distance: less than 250m.

3. Output signal: square wave

4. The signal amplitude is + 12VDC, the power supply amplitude is about 10V, and the power supply amplitude is about 20V

5. Installation: the amplifier and turbine flow sensor are connected with M16 × 1.5 thread. After the turbine flow sensor is installed, screw the amplifier onto the turbine flow sensor, screw the amplifier to the bottom of the amplifier by hand, and then tighten the lock nut.

6. Wiring: the external leads of pulse output amplifier are three, red wire, white wire and shield. The red line is connected with positive power supply, and the white line is pulse output. It is connected with other display instrument or equipment, and the shield is grounded.

The fourth is 4-20mA output turbine flowmeter.

1. Working voltage: external power supply + 24 VDC

2. Output signal: 4 ~ 20mA or 1-5V, 4mA corresponds to zero flow of turbine flow sensor, 20mA is used for maximum flow of turbine flow sensor, and flow range is shown on turbine flow sensor nameplate.

3. Signal transmission distance: less than 250m.

4. Installation: after the turbine flow sensor is installed, screw the amplifier to the joint of the turbine flow sensor, screw the amplifier to the bottom of the amplifier by hand, and then tighten the locking nut.

5. Wiring: the external leads of 4 ~ 20mA output amplifier are red wire and white wire. The red line is the power line and the white line is the signal line.

During the installation of turbine flowmeter, the following problems should be paid attention to:

1. In order to avoid gas accumulation in the flowmeter, the flowmeter should not be installed at the highest point of the horizontal pipeline.

2. In order not to interrupt the fluid transportation during the maintenance, the stop valve is usually installed at the upstream and downstream of the flow sensor, and the bypass pipeline is set at the same time, and the bypass pipeline shall not leak when the bypass valve is closed during measurement.

3. The flow sensor shall be concentric with the pipeline, and the sealing ring shall not protrude into the pipeline.

4. When the temperature of the fluid needs to be measured, it should be measured at the length of 5 times of the nominal diameter of the pipeline downstream of the flow sensor.

5. If the flowmeter is installed at the low point of the pipeline, a discharge valve should be installed on the pipeline to discharge the sediment regularly.

6. If reverse flow is possible, check valve should be added to prevent reverse flow.

7. When cleaning the newly laid pipeline, a short pipe should be connected to the position where the flow sensor is installed, and then install the flow sensor after the cleaning.

8. The front and rear pipes of the flow sensor shall be firmly supported to avoid obvious vibration.

When the flow rate is 9 times of the nominal diameter of the pipeline, the pressure sensor should be measured at the upstream.
