1、 Wetted material
We should consider the medium measured by the pressure transmitter. The material of the contact medium of the general pressure transmitter is 316 stainless steel. If your medium is not corrosive to 316 stainless steel, then basically all pressure transmitters are suitable for your measurement of medium pressure.
If your medium is corrosive to 316 stainless steel, then we should adopt chemical seal, which can not only measure the pressure of medium, but also effectively prevent the contact between the medium and the liquid part of pressure transmitter, so as to protect the pressure transmitter and extend the life of the pressure transmitter.
2、 Accuracy class
Each electronic measuring meter will have accuracy error, but the accuracy level of each country is different. For example, the accuracy of national standards such as China and the United States is the best part of the sensor's linearity, which is the accuracy between 10% and 90% of the measurement range as we usually call it; while the accuracy of European standard is the worst part of linearity, For example, the accuracy of the self-developed pressure transmitter from Shanghai to Europe is between 1.0% and 90.5%, which is to say, the accuracy of the pressure transmitter manufactured by our company is between 1.0% and 90.0% of the European standard.
3、 Measuring range
Generally, the maximum range of sensor measurement is 70% of the full range of the sensor, that is, to measure the pressure of 70bar, we should select the range of pressure transmitter of 100bar.
4、 Output signal
At present, due to various acquisition needs, there are many kinds of output signals of pressure transmitter on the market, mainly 4 ~ 20mA, 0 ~ 20mA, 0 ~ 10V, 0 ~ 5V, etc., but the more commonly used are 4 ~ 20mA and 0 ~ 10V. In the above output signals, only 4 ~ 20mA is two-wire system (the output we said is several wire system, excluding grounding or shielding wire), and the others are three wire system.
5、 Medium temperature
Because the signal of the pressure transmitter is converted through the electronic circuit, the temperature of the measuring medium of the pressure transmitter is generally - 30 to + 100 degrees. If the temperature is too high, we usually use the condensation bend to cool the medium. In this way, the cost of making a high temperature resistant pressure transmitter specially produced by the manufacturer will be greatly reduced.
6、 Measuring medium
Generally, we measure relatively clean fluid. We can directly use standard pressure transmitter. If the medium you measure is easy to crystallize or viscous, we usually use external diaphragm or use it together with chemical seal, which can effectively prevent the medium from blocking the pressure measuring hole.
7、 Others
After determining the above five parameters, we should also confirm the process connection interface of your pressure transmitter and the power supply voltage of the pressure transmitter; if it is used in special occasions, the explosion-proof and protection level should be considered
