Coriolis flowmeter is called Coriolis force flowmeter for short. It is a device that uses the principle of Coriolis force which is directly proportional to the mass flow rate when the fluid flows in the vibrating pipe. It is composed of flow detection element and converter. Coriolis mass flowmeter realizes the direct measurement of mass flow. It has the characteristics of high precision, multi-media and multiple process parameters. It is widely used in petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food and other industries.
The basic operation of Coriolis flowmeter is based on the principle of motion mechanics. When the fluid flows along the vibrating tube to the vibration point of the peak amplitude, the flow will be accelerated. On the contrary, when the fluid flows along the vibrating tube far away from the peak amplitude point, it will slow down the flow. As a result, the Coriolis force causes the pipe to bend and cause deflection when the flow tube passes through each vibration cycle under vibration condition.
